The natural and geographical frame of Nepal offers significant climbing scope to all the adventure lovers around the world. For years, many expeditioners and climbers have visited this wonderland to feel the excitement and adventure in Himalayan snow giants. So, Among these giants, Abi peak is the one, extended along Mahalangur Himalayan Range in Solukhumbu district, Nepal. Also, The peak, locally famed as Cholo peak or Kangchung peak, offers perfect mountaineering training for all who wish to endeavor 8000ers. Abi peak, altitude to the height of 6097 meters from the sea level, is included as a group “A” climbing peak by Nepal Mountaineering Association. The peak was recently opened to climbing in 2002 and has been successfully ascended for less than 6 times.

The peak, though fairly approached, can be in anyone’s wish list of climbing for being geographically spectacular and culturally endearing. The journey moves ahead along local villages of Sherpa of the Everest region, yak pastures, and green meadows.

This climbing is somewhat complicate technically and at places tough too for it involves moving across technical ridges. So, this peak requires careful ascent and physical soundness.
