Chekijo Peak is among the wonderful peaks of Rolwaling region extended along the Gaurishanker Himalayan Region in Dolakha district of eastern Nepal. Chekijo peak climbing is admire for its even logistic appearance which in effect makes climbing an easy stuff. The peak stands 6257 meters above the sea level spreading in between the Khumbu valley and Rolwaling Himalayan Ranges. The peak was lately opened for climbing in 2002 with only few attempts (below 100) made till date. Bruce Normand (U.K) and Oliver Von Rotz (Switzerland) were the first to ascend the peak in 2005.
