Rising above the west of thrilling Ganja la and south of Langtang valley, Ganja-la chuli (5844 m) is another breathtaking mountain peak situated in langtang area. A part of Langtan himal range, Ganja la chuli is now popular as Naya Kanga chuli. Though consider one of the finest peaks in the region, it is somehow visit very rarely because of its difficulty and technicality. Along with the unbeleivable vista of majestic Himalayan peaks like Lantang Lirung, Lenpo Gang, Dorje Lakpa, Ganesh Himal, Langshisha Ri , Naya kanga, Pemthang Kharpo, Pemthang Ri and Shishapangma summit of Ganja la chuli rewards you with amazing views of Tibetan countryside.

This fantabulous journey of Naya Kanga kicks off either from Dhunche or from Syabru Bensi. The route of langtang circuit trek will follow till Kyangjin gompa before heading towards Ganja la chuli base camp; the snowy north-east ridge has long been used as the normal course to the peak. The climb near the summit should done carefully as you’d have to make an ascent on risky snow slopes, with some crevasses as you turn west below the Ganja La; and finally the short ridge section before footing the summit. Best season for Ganja-la Chuli peak climbing is March to May and September to December.
