Neighboring the highest mountain of world Mt. Everest, Lobuche Peak  has tremendous scope for adventure and excitement. Lobuche Peak is positioned on top of the Lobuche village in Khumbu Region and is locally known as Lhauche. There are two individual summits of Lobuche Peak namely Lobuche East (6119 m) and Lobuche West (6145 m). Lobuche village via South bear and South Ridge serve as the starting point of the route for Lobuche Peak climbing. Significant expanse between the east and west summit can seen, though they are connect by a continuous ridge. While east peak requires trekking peak permit, Lobuche west requires an expedition permit. Hence, the focus here will be Lobuche east.

As an extension on the trail of Everest base camp we go to Lobuche village from where we will trek to the Lobuche East Base Camp (5200m). The two days of acclimatization will finish here, after which the climb along the South Ridge to the summit will continue. Panoramic views of Himalayan peaks like Everest (8850), Nuptse, Lhotse, Makalu, Baruntse, Ama Dablam, Cholaste, Thamserku, Kantega peak  Tawache peak and many other significant Himalayan peaks of Khumbu region, major Himalayan glaciers and alpine lakes of Sagarmatha National Park.
