Trip Overview

Regarded as the most challenging trekking trail of Makalu region, Sherpani pass trekking, like many other treks of Makalu region, kicks off from Tumlingtar and ends at Lukla. We hike up the Arun River valley During the course of Sherpani Col trek, we travel across the 3 difficult passes of the Sherpani Col, West Col and Amphu Laptcha. This is the ultimate high altitude trekking which has camps at altitude of 6,000 meters; the trekkers need to use trekking equipments like crampons, ice axe and should be able to make descent at steep icy slopes. It is a very demanding venture, hence is appropriate only for those with adequate experience of strenuous trekking in high altitudes.
