The trek goes through the Annapurna base camp (4230m), Poon Hill (3210m), the Modi river, and the brightly illuminating rhododendron and bamboo forests. During the trek, you can have a look of spectacular mountains, and simple yet fascinating settlements of the ethnic Gurung community. You can also have the experience of wild honey hunting in Chumrung if your trek is during the honey hunting season. Itinerary

Arrive in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Check-in to your hotel, rest, and prepare for your trek.

Take a tourist bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara.
Approximate driving time: 7-8 hours.
Spend the evening exploring Pokhara and preparing for the trek.

Drive from Pokhara to Ulleri.
Trek to Ghorepani.
Approximate trekking time: 5-6 hours.

Early morning hike to Poon Hill for sunrise.
Return to Ghorepani and continue the trek to Tadapani.
Approximate trekking time: 6-7 hours.

Trek to Chhomrong, a Gurung village.
Approximate trekking time: 5-6 hours.

Descend to the Chhomrong Khola and ascend to Sinuwa.
Trek through bamboo forests to reach Bamboo.
Approximate trekking time: 4-5 hours.

Continue the trek along the Modi Khola.
Reach Deurali.
Approximate trekking time: 3-4 hours.

Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC).
Enjoy stunning views of the surrounding peaks.

Descend back to Bamboo.
Approximate trekking time: 6-7 hours.

Trek to Jhinu Danda, which is known for its natural hot springs.
Relax in the hot springs.

Drive back to Pokhara.

Rest day in Pokhara
