Best Seasons to trek Tilicho Lake:
The best time to visit for a Tilicho Lake Trek is between September and November, fall, or from March to May, spring. Temperatures during the fall daytime range between 10°C and 20°C, and nighttime temperatures fall below -5°C to 5°C. This is peak season mainly because of clear and stable weather. Temperatures in spring range between 10°C and 15°C during the day and from -5°C to 0°C at night. Clear sky and colorful blossoms are other features of this season that make hiking ideal. Trekking is best done in all seasons due to pleasant temperatures and excellent visibility.
In contrast, winters are extremely cold: -15°C to -5°C at night and 0° to 10+°C during the day. Snow may render routes a bit difficult and not as easily accessible; thus, unless you are a keen trekker, it is not recommended. Summer takes place between June and August and has milder daytime temperatures that range from 15°C to 25°C.
