Tilicho Lake Trek

Overview

Besisahar serves as the starting point of Tilicho lake Trek which goes along the Marshyangdi River. The rocky cliffs and geographic structures with the traditional villages on the route are cherish for their charm and atmosphere. In the east, trekkers can have the view of Hinchuli and Manaslu. Though there are varoius natural and cultural highlights in this trek, the Tilicho Lake serves as the main attraction.

Standing in the altitude of 4919 m, Tilicho lake is consider to be the one of the highest lakes in the world. The Tilicho Trek lies in Annapurna Region, but only few trekkers hike up to Tilicho lake due to its high altitude and remoteness; which collects the glacial melt of the entire northern slopes of Annapurna and Thorong Peak. So, the scenic grandeur in combination with the multi-culture and multi-ethnic diversity makes it an exotic trekking destination.
