Best Season for this Trip:

The Annapurna Circuit Trek is possible throughout the year, and each season offers different experiences. The best and most popular seasons are spring from March to May and autumn from September to November, but winter and summer have their unique advantages.

Spring:

This is the time when the sky is crystal clear, the temperatures are mild, and the landscape gets blanketed with rhododendrons and wildflowers. Generally, the weather is stable, with conditions perfect for trekking-fantastic panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges are very clear.

Autumn:

This is regarded as the peak season for trekking, and it is normally characterized by stable and clear weather conditions. During these times, days usually remain warm, although nights get cool at high attitudes. During this period, one could behold some of the best mountain vistas, and often, the period is favorable to those trekkers who desire perfect weather and trekking conditions.

Winter:

December and February of a year, and in this period, the path to the trekkers would lie calm and aloof and never be jampacked as it used to be during the other seasons of the year. However chilly the temperature might get, especially at higher heights, there is a certain magic lying in a snow-white landscape. Suitable for trekkers who love quietness, serenity, and a bit of adventure amidst snow-clad mountains, you must be well-prepared against cold conditions.

Summer (June to August):

This season runs concurrently with the monsoon season; hence, the temperatures are warm but with possible rainfall. Although the trails are wet and slippery, the route offers breathtaking scenery with lush greenery and flora that thrive in this season. Trekking in this season is very quiet, with fewer trekkers-a perfect season for those needing solitude-although one should prepare themselves for possible rain showers.
