Best Season for this Trip:
The best time to go for a jungle safari in Parsa National Park is in the autumn (October to December) and spring (February to April) seasons. The weather will be really nice during these months with clear skies, moderate temperatures, and dry conditions. Also, this is the time of the year when the vegetation is less dense, which means animals are easier to spot since you can see through the bushes more. Being out on the jeep safaris, walking in nature and watching birds will also be quite comfortable at these times of the year. With spring, the jungle really comes alive with flowers blooming, the greenery all around and the sound of birds calling one another - it is truly a magical time for anyone who loves nature.Winter (December to February) is a good season to visit the park as well, because the weather will be cool making it very pleasant for staying longer on safari and not suffering from the heat.
This is the season when the park sees a good number of migratory birds which makes it a perfect time for birdwatching. But you will need warm clothes as the temperatures during the morning and evening are normally quite low. Monsoon season (June to September) is generally considered a bad time for jungle safari because the heavy rainfall would make the trails muddy and difficult to move around. Also, since the vegetation is very dense, the animals become more difficult to spot. Still, those who are really passionate about nature photography might find something to their liking in the monsoon as the jungle gets transformed into lush, green paradise illustrating a rejuvenated ecosystem. Yet, for the ultimate safari experience with the highest possibility of coming across rare wildlife, one should definitely consider planning the trip from October to April.
