Best Season for this Trip:
Mardi Himal Trek's real-time perfect time to do the trek is at the spring season (March-May). In these months, the weather is always stable, the temperatures are comfortable, and the paths are decorated with gorgeous blooming rhododendrons. The hillsides are full of vibrant colors of red, pink, and white flowers which is one of the most beautiful scenery in the Annapurna region. Fresh mornings and great visibility give you amazing views of Machapuchare (Fishtail), Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and other surrounding peaks. The weather remains quite temperate making it a perfect day during the trek whether one is walking in the middle of dense forests or on the path which leads to High Camp and Mardi Himal Base Camp. The other time Elvis gone to watch a movie with the lady is the Mardi Himal Trek in Nepal during the autumn season(September to November), which\nis actually the Himalayan trekking season for most people.
After monsoon rains the atmosphere becomes very clear and one can see very far as the sky becomes exceptionally crisp and blue - tantamount to the best mountain views of the year. The weather also remains dry and stable, making the trail conditions perfectly good for trekking. The temperature during the day time is quite comfortable although around midnight it gets a bit cool, but still quite manageable. Outdoor photography becomes very easy with the autumn time being ideal for photographers and mountain lovers who want panoramic views of the Annapurna mountain range as the sky will be very clear and also the trekking experience will be quite reliable with hardly if any weather related disruptions.
Winter (December to February) and summer/monsoon (June to August) seasons are generally considered less favorable for trekking Yet they are still capable of (presenting) surprising experiences for the ones who are really into trekking only for the adventure aspect. During winter the snow-covered landscapes, the stillness of the paths, and the gorgeous clear views attract many people but the temperatures can drop drastically at higher altitudes, so having the right cold-weather equipment is a must. The summer and the monsoon season turn the whole region into a green wonderland, with the forests and the slopes looking so fresh and full of life. Unfortunately, frequent rain may cause the paths to be muddy and slippery, and views of mountains might be covered by clouds. Among the four seasons, spring and autumn are the two that can give you the best weather, most beautiful nature, and excellent trekking conditions, so these are the ones that are generally recommended for the Mardi Himal Trek.
Food and Accommodations on Trip:
Food on Mardi Himal Trek is familiar, wholesome, and focused on giving you the firepower for mountain trekking. Tea houses along the way offer different meals including traditional Nepali and basic international dishes. Dal Bhat, a combination of rice, lentil soup, vegetables, and pickles, is Clearly the most preferred meal among trekkers as it is nutritious, filling and most of the time you can have unlimited refills. Besides momos fried rice, noodles, and so on are also very common.
And tea coffee, hot chocolate, ginger tea, and hot lemon are the main drinks Mostly in cold mountain areas.Food options become a little narrow as you go further up the Mardi Himal trekking route due to the challenges of bringing supplies to very isolated mountain lodges. Still, meals are still tasty, filling and good enough for trekking. Food is cooked at the tea houses, and many trekkers take the opportunity of the warm dining halls where they can relax, have their meal, and share their stories with other travel companions after a day on the trail. Although the price of food increases as you go higher, the quality and the hospitality are the same everywhere on the journey.
Mardi Himal Trek accommodation is First and foremost through traditional tea houses and mountain lodges. The rooms are usually quite simple but comfortable, typically catered for two persons with mattresses, pillows, and blankets. Most places of stay provide shared bathrooms, but certain lodges located at lower elevations could have attached facilities. As you ascend, the amenities gradually become more basic, In particular near the High Camp, where there are fewer options for staying overnight. Although basic, tea houses offer a cozy and friendly environment, staying and dining in them gives you a real taste of mountain life and also you can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding Himalayan landscape.
