General Info
Trip Overview
The remote, untouched Himalaya in Humla, Limi Valley Trek, makes a great trek across Tibetan villages and high mountain passes to ancient monasteries. In the course of time, there are spectacular views that trekkers see, including Mt. Kailash, Saipal, and Api Himal. The trail of the trek goes through various landscapes, from lush green valleys to barren high-altitude plateaus. This remains one of Nepal's most unique and off-the-beaten-path experiences.
The Limi Valley is a storehouse of Tibetan culture in its most genuine form. Trekkers wander around the traditional villages of Halji, Til, and Jang, which are full of historical and spiritual monuments. The villages are adorned with centuries-old monasteries, colored prayer flags, and warm locals. Trekkers get an opportunity to glimpse blue sheep, marmots, and even snow leopards.
