Best Season for this Trip:

The best time to hop on an Annapurna Base Camp helicopter tour is spring or autumn. From March to May, you get clear skies and mild weather, and the rhododendrons are in full bloom hills just burst with color while the Himalayas stand tall and snowy above. Autumn, from September to November, feels even crisper. The air is clean and cool, visibility is fantastic, and the views of the entire Annapurna range are just unreal.   People still head up in winter, between December and February. The landscape turns perfectly white, and the mountains look sharper than ever. Plus, the trails are quieter. Just know that sometimes weather fog, snow, that sort of thing can delay flights.   Monsoon season, June to August, doesn’t get much love. Heavy rain, clouds, and poor visibility usually spoil the show. Still, every now and then, you’ll catch a clear morning and sneak in a flight with pretty impressive views. It just takes a bit more luck.
