Detailed Itinerary of Bardiya Jungle Safari:

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m / 4,593ft)

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, you can relax and recover from your journey or take a short walk around the lively streets of Thamel, filled with shops, cafes, and local culture. If time allows, you may also explore nearby UNESCO sites such as Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) or Kathmandu Durbar Square. In the evening, a short briefing about the upcoming Bardiya Jungle Safari will be provided. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Fly to Nepalgunj & Drive to Bardiya (150m / 492ft)

After breakfast, you will take a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj, located in the warm Terai region of Nepal. From Nepalgunj, you will continue a short drive to Bardiya National Park, passing through rural landscapes and local settlements. Upon arrival, you will check into your jungle lodge or resort and enjoy a peaceful environment surrounded by nature. In the evening, you will receive a detailed safari briefing and relax at the lodge. Overnight stay in Bardiya.

Day 03: Full Day Bardiya Jungle Safari (150m / 492ft)

Early morning begins your exciting Bardiya Jungle Safari inside the national park. You will explore dense Sal forests, grasslands, and riverbanks through a jeep safari or nature walk, guided by experienced naturalists. During the day, you may encounter wildlife such as Bengal tigers, one-horned rhinos, wild elephants, deer, and crocodiles. A packed lunch will be enjoyed inside or near the park area depending on the route. In the afternoon, continue exploration with birdwatching or another jungle activity. Day 04: Return to Kathmandu (1,400m / 4,593ft)

You may do last-minute shopping in Thamel or visit cultural landmarks if time permits.
