Itinerary for the Khopra Danda Trek/Khayer Lake Trek

The agent will greet you and take you to the accommodation when you arrive. You will then have free time to rest or travel Kathmandu. Spend the night at a Kathmandu hotel.

You drive for 7 hours through green hills, rivers and villages. A sightseeing tour of Phewa Lake will offer a magnificent view of the Annapurna ranges. Later, you stay in Pokhara for the night.

Drive two hours to reach Najapul; from there, six hours drive reaches Ghandruk via Syauli Bazar and Kimche. The Ghanduk is one of the biggest Gurung villages in Nepal, which is famous for its culture and mountain landscape. It is time to overnight here.

Various delicious and healthy foodstuffs during the Khopra Danda Trek keeps the energy level throughout the hike. The main traditional Nepali food items along with some basic international cuisines are available on the trek. The menu for the breakfast includes Tibetan bread, chapati, pancakes, porridge, eggs boiled, scrambled or omelet, and tea or coffee. Dal Bhat with rice, lentil soup, vegetables, and pickles is the standard full meal one can get both at lunch and dinner.

The food is generally fresh and prepared from locally sourced ingredients. Food options diminish with the rise in altitude, as does the ratio of price due to the challenges of transportation.
